Woke up yesterday to hear a saddening news that Mr Lee Kuan Yew passed away. Though some of the Singapore complained about the high living expenses in Singapore, but have you thought that as an small country, there is a need to incur such high costs? Since young, we were taught in school to 饮水思源 and I felt very thankful to Mr Lee for his dedicated contribution to build Singapore into a safe and prosperous country. He made a big impact to our lives today.
I will be heading down to Parliament House to pay my tribute to Mr Lee together with some of my friends. If anyone is interested, you can head down to Parliament House from today (Tuesday) to Saturday 10am - 8pm.
